There is a relatively new resident of the atrium of the new Howe-Russell Building - a full-scale replica of an allosaurus. This dinosaur was a fearsome predator. Its teeth were 5-10 cm long and curved backward and serrated. Allosaurus' strong back and neck aided its jaws in tearing off chunks of flesh. It had relatively short arms which ended in three long hook-like claws that were important for attacking and holding on to prey. It had two sturdy legs and a powerful tail.
